Lepanto PX
Description
Der Brandy trägt einen berühmten Namen. Unter Führung des spanischen Befehlshabers Don Juan de Austria besiegten Spanier und Venezianer bei der Meerenge von Lepanto im Oktober 1571 die gefürchtete osmanische Flotte. Das bereits aufgegebene Venedig wurde zurückerobert. Zweifach im Kupferkessel im Charentoise-Verfahren destilliert, reift Lepanto PX im Solera-Verfahren bis zu 15 Jahren im Pedro Ximenes-Faß, von dem er seine üppige Fruchtigkeit gewinnt. Dattel-, Feigen-, und Rosinenaromen würzen sein Bouquet, im Geschmack erscheint Lepanto PX fein und weich. Im Finale sind Dörrobst und fein vanillige Töne wahrnehmbar.
